Many of our students choose Enrichment projects to explore creative processes such as writing, drawing and collage. You may choose to keep a portfolio or a sketch journal to show evidence of the work you are doing.

Keeping a Journal, a Sketchbook, or a Portfolio.

This is your creative project, so almost anything goes. Ideas posted on this page are intended to get you started and possibly to assist you when you run out of ideas. Some visual design lessons and writing activities will also be posted here, so you can learn some fundamentals that will improve skills.

1. Journal prompts - possible links to get you thinking:
Check the journals section in the right sidebar for a few possibilities. Consider making a VISUAL JOURNAL, combining sketchbook, diary, calendar, scrapbook, story or poem ideas, quotes and more! Visual journals are a personal expression of your ideas, using a mixture of materials and resources. Get as messy as you like! Sketch, write and collage every day or as often as you can!

2. Think about bold DESIGN for some of your pages. Design activities will be posted soon, but remember that YOU make the choices.
